What you get
New customers who order through a referral link get $100. Starlink's terms say the reward amount is "specified in your Starlink Customer Account," and that the new customer "will receive the same Reward" as the referrer.

When the referrer gets paid
The referral "matures" once the new customer stays subscribed. The terms: "The Referred Subscriber must maintain continuously subscribed and in good standing for two full monthly billing cycles in order for a Pending Referral to mature to an Eligible Referral."
Credit or cash
"By default, Rewards will be credited to the Referrer's Starlink account in the form of service credits. Cash payments may not be available in all countries." Starlink's referrals page says rewards can be cash to your bank account or service credit.
Which plans count
"Referred Subscribers may not be permitted to activate on all Starlink service plans. Eligible service plans will be communicated to the Referred Subscriber at the time of sign-up."
What can cancel a reward
Starlink says it "may limit, change, cancel, delay, or revoke a Reward (including after issuance) … in the event of fraud or abuse of the Program or violation of these terms." Play it straight and you're fine.
